Lana Lynn Baker, age 67, of Woodsfield, Ohio died Sunday October 7, 2012 at the Barnesville Hospital Barnesville, Ohio.  She was born in Wetzel County West Virginia October 6, 1945 a daughter of the late Earl and Eleanor Kocher Potts.

She had worked at LGAM Sewing factory, and enjoyed cake decorating, Bingo, and spending time with family.

She is survived by her husband; Martin Junior Baker of Woodsfield who she married November 27, 1965, son Marty (Keeley) Baker of Woodsfield, daughters; Missy (Todd) Hooper of Woodsfield, and Lori (Neal) Mahoney of Woodsfield, three sisters; Orvella (Larry) Neff of Middlebourne, West Virginia, Beverly (and the late Sam) Goddard of Hannibal, Ohio  and Bonnie (Tom) Detling of Senecaville, Ohio, three brothers; Earl Potts of Freemont, Ohio, Herman Potts of Beallsville, Ohio, and Gary Potts of Marysville, Ohio,  five granddaughters; Josie & Summer Mahoney, Erica & Brittany Hooper, and Raelynn Baker.

Friends received from 2 – 4 & 6 - 8 p.m. Tuesday October 9, at the Bauer -Turner Funeral Home Woodsfield, Ohio, where funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday October 10, 2012 with Pastor Tom Detling officiating.  Interment will follow at the Oaklawn Cemetery Woodsfield, Ohio.

Bonnie and all the family,I knew Lana only as a patient,but there was no doubt she was truely loved by all of you.You will miss her, but remember all the good times and dwell on them. My prayers are with as you go through the days ahead.

So sorry for your loss. Lana was a great "neighborhood mom" when I was growing up. She always had time to talk and I never saw her go by the house without a smile and a wave. She truly was a wonderful person.

Sorry to hear about Lana . We have lived in Wooster Ohio for 42 years , but would see Lana somewhere in Woodsfield sometimes when we would be back there .Always enjoyed talking to her . Her Dad and my Dad was related .
