Drake Family, my deepest sympathy to all of you. I worked at Riesbeck''s for 28 years, and that is how I knew Mrs. Drake. Anyone that lived during the WWI, WWII, and the great depression as she did were made out of a different mold. Give up or quit was not in their vocabulary, and they were very happy with what they had. I will continue to keep all of you in my prayers.
God Bless, Pandora

Barb Salyer & family - I was so sorry to hear about the recent death of your mother. You have my deepest sympathy.
One of the greatest tragedies in life is when we lose someone we love in death. I have felt this deep sorrow myself.
When I was grieving the loss of my loved ones, I was comforted by friends who shared some encouraging scriptures with me. Perhaps you would like to read these scriptures for yourself in your own Bible.
What is the condition of the dead? The Bible, at Ecclesiastes 9:5 & 10 explains: “The living are conscious that they shall die ;but as for the dead, they are conscious of nothing at all”…and verse 10 says, “All that your hand finds to do, do with your very power, for there is no work, nor devising, nor knowledge, nor wisdom in in the grave, the place to which you are going.”
This scripture is comforting because it makes clear that the dead are no longer suffering, but are in a deep sleep. See how Jesus himself described the death of his friend Lazarus.
Not only did Jesus raise Lazarus from the dead, but the Gospels show that he raised others as well. Since Luke 7:11-17 and Luke 8:40 - 56.
We also have his promise that, “all those in the memorial toms will hear his voice and come out.” Read this for yourself at John 5: 28 & 29.
Please know we love you and we pray you and your family will find comfort and peace during this time.
