Violet M. Rader, age 89 of Woodsfield, Ohio passed away Tuesday February 6, 2018 at Astoria Place in Barnesville, Ohio.  She was born May 5, 1928 to Leonard and Mabel Khune.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband John Cartell, second husband Ronald Rader; a sister Sheba Drake and her brothers Jasper Khune, Madison Khune, and William Khune.

Violet is survived by her children; John (Diane) Cartell of Dover, Ohio; Linda (John) Foraker of London, Kentucky; James (Theresa) Cartell of Caldwell, Ohio; Cathy Okey of Woodsfield; Cindy (Tom) Nowell of Raleigh, North Carolina; her step-children; Rebecca Huffman of Lewisville, Ohio; Steve (Patty) Rader of Ravenna, Ohio; Paula (Dave) Stoffel of Reynoldsburg, Ohio; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.

In keeping with Violets wishes, there will be no visitation.  A private service and interment will take place on a later date at the convenience of the family.

Rader Family, my deepest sympathy on the passing of Violet. I remember her fondly from Riesbeck's, and what a sweet kind lady she was, and it was always a pleasure to wait on her.
