James Dewey Black

James Dewey Black 69, of Woodsfield, Ohio passed away Saturday April 6, 2024 at his home.  He was born in Ravenna, Ohio December 9, 1954 a son of the late Henry R. Black and Clara Long Black.

He was a machinist and a Jack of all trades.

He is survived by his wife Christine Black of Woodsfield, sons Scott J. Black of Louisville, Ohio and Ken N. Black of Streetsboro, Ohio, 2 brothers Allen Black of Kent, Ohio, Terry Black of Chesterland, Ohio, sister Connie Elrod of Kent, Ohio, grandchildren Haley Black, Ashlynn Black, Delaney Black, and Cassiel Black and several nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received from 3 until time of funeral service at 7:30 pm. Friday April 12 2024 at the Bauer - Turner Funeral Home, 100 South Paul Street, Woodsfield, Ohio.    Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
