Johanna D Fagert

Johanna D. Fagert, 81 of Shadyside, Ohio formerly of Woodsfield passed away Tuesday January 18, 2022 at East Ohio Regional Hospital Martins Ferry, Ohio.  She was born in Marburg, Germany September 12, 1940 a daughter of the late Richard & Christine Daus.

She was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church of Woodsfield.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Paul Willis Fagert Sr., one sister and one brother.

She is survived by her son Paul Willis Fagert Jr. of Shadyside, daughters Christine Vaughn (Thomas Niven) of Wheeling, and Danielle Gordon (Robert) Cooper of Pleasant City, whom she thought of as a daughter, one brother Hans Daus of Germany, grandchildren, Rick Biggs, James (Melissa) Biggs, Kenny (Bre) Vaughn, David (Ashley Demello) Vaughn, Zachary (Jocelyn Cooper) Vaughn and Jason (Brooke Hartley) Vaughn and Charlie Scatterday (Cody Pride) and Ava Scatterday (whom she also considered her grandchildren), great grandchildren Travis & Alahna, Sophia & Savannah, Ellie and Kyler, and Adelyn and Kinsley.

Friends will be received from 10 am until time of funeral service at 1 p.m. Monday January 24, 2022 at the Bauer-Turner Funeral Home 100 S. Paul St. Woodsfield, Ohio with Fred Ricer officiating.  Burial will follow in Oaklawn Cemetery Woodsfield.
