Annette Mobley Obituary

Annette June Dunn Nippert Mobley entered into rest on Thursday, April 25, 2019 at the home of her daughter and son-in-law in Gibsonia, PA. She was born October 27, 1940. She was privileged to be the daughter of the late Homer Kester and Elsie Belle Fagert Dunn of Sardis, Ohio.

Annette graduated from River High School in 1958. She attended Ohio University and graduated in 1962. Following a year in Cleveland, she returned to Monroe County and began her long history of teaching.

On June 10, 1966, Annette married Robert Carl Nippert, who predeceased her on Nov. 15, 1968. On Nov. 5, 1971 she married Woodrow Wayne Mobley, who passed away on Dec. 15, 2007.

On Sept. 4, 1977, Annette along with her daughter Anastasia and stepson Clinton took the best ride of her life to the First Baptist Church in Paden City, WV, where she met the Lord Jesus Christ as her personal savior.

In addition to her parents and husbands she was preceded in death by her brother Jimmy Dunn.

Annette is survived by her wonderful daughter and son-in-law Anastasia and David Yeater and their delightful cats, Allie, Lily and Stephen Catbert; her great niece and husband Rachel and Nathan Gerber; nephew Homer Dunn; stepson Clinton Mobley; her friend and teaching partner of over 20 years, Heather Robbins and many good friends and dear students that she has known over the years.

Until the time of her passing, Annette was employed by the SOLSD as a 5th and 6th grade Social Studies teacher and was a member of the First Baptist Church, Paden City, WV.

Friends received from 2 – 8 p.m. Thursday, May 2, 2019 at the Bauer-Turner Funeral Home 100 S. Paul St. Woodsfield, Ohio.  Funeral services will be held at the First Baptist Church, 600 S. 4th Ave., Paden City, West Virginia at 11 a.m. Friday May 3, 2019 with Pastor Jonathan Mast officiating. Burial will follow in Oaklawn Cemetery, Woodsfield, Ohio.
