Charles Richard Schwaben, 80, of Woodsfield, Ohio passed away Tuesday, March 12, 2019 at Arbors at Woodsfield. He was born October 7, 1938 in Bergholz, Ohio a son of the late Charles H. & Iva B. McKee Schwaben.
He owned and operated an ice cream business the Summer Song in Fort Wayne, IN. He was a member of the Eagles # 2302, VFW Post 5303 and American Legion # 768 Beallsville.
He was preceded in death by a sister Betty Steele.
He is survived by his wife Brenda K. Wilson Schwaben, children Charles (Kathy) Schwaben, Barbarba (Mike) Moore, Travis (Stacy) Schwaben, and Lisa (Erik) Botizan, 7 grandchildren Megan (Ben) Geyer, Carly (Kyle) Rader, Hali Moore, Eriana Botizan, Klaudia Botizan, Gage Schwaben and Gracy Schwaben, 6 great grandchildren Rex Geyer, Dori Geyer, Lola Rader, Sage Rader, Oliver Buckland, and Katarina Buckland, brother Bernie Schwaben, a sister Linda Lewis, several nieces, nephews, and loving friends and family.
A celebration of life will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday March 16, 2019 at the VFW Post 5303 Woodsfield, Ohio. Arrangement by Bauer-Turner Funeral Home, Woodsfield, Ohio. Inurnment will be held at the convenience of the family.
