Cinderella Butler

Cinderella Butler, 96 of St. Rt. 379 Calais, Ohio died Wednesday February 27, 2019 at Emerald Pointe Nursing Home with her family by her side after a short illness.  She was born September 15, 1922 in Belmont County Ohio, a daughter of the late William and Othella Powell Stephen.

She was a homemaker and Catholic by faith and a member of St. John Catholic Church and a member of the Catholic Women’s Club Miltonsburg, Ohio.

Preceded in death by her husband Vernon L. Butler – April, 2005, a grandson, Brandon Butler, a great-great granddaughter Briley Reiland, 2 brothers, Girdon Stephen, and Gerome Stephen, and a sister, Amelia Hayes.

She is survived by her children, Carol (Grover) Gallagher of Quaker City, Ohio, Audrey (James) Crum of Caldwell, Ohio, Rodney (Mary) Butler of St. Rt. 379 Woodsfield, Ohio, Delores (Mark) Wells of Malaga, Ohio, and Marvin (Lisa) Butler of Barnesville, Ohio, 1 sister, Marcella Carpenter and 1 sister-in-law Nova Stephen, 12 grandchildren; Brent (Teresa) Gallagher, Brenda George, Mike (Amy) Crum, Daren (Holly) Crum, Karen Halasi, Stacey (Peter) Patton, David (Tiffany) Butler, Diane (Jerry) Clark, Michelle (Chuck) Warner, Patrick (Cassie) Wells, Pamela (J.J.) Huffman, and Lacy (Bud) Hines,  33 Great Grandchildren,
1 great-great grandchild, and several nieces & nephews.
    
Friends received from 2-8 p.m. Friday March 1, 2019 at the Bauer-Turner Funeral Home 100 S. Paul St. Woodsfield, Ohio.  Mass of Christian Burial will be held 1 p.m. Saturday March 2, 2019 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church Miltonsburg, Ohio with Rev. Fr. David Gaydosik officiating.  Interment in the Church Cemetery.
Vigil Services 7:30 p.m. Friday evening at the funeral home.
