Hallie Elizabeth (Ogden) Seebach, age 90 of Woodsfield, Ohio passed away peacefully Sunday March 30, 2008 at the Woodsfield Nursing & Rehabilitation Center following a long illness. She was born on Bracken Ridge near Lewisville, Monroe County, Ohio on July 24, 1917, a daughter of the late Frank John and Kathryn A. Knopf Ogden.
She was married on September 12, 1942 at St. Peter's E & R Church in Lewisville to Gerald "Jerry" Seebach, who preceded her in death in 1993.
Hallie and Jerry Seebach operated Jerry's Studio and Camera Shop in Woodsfield for many years. They were actively involved in trying to restore a scenic narrow gauge railroad in Monroe County.
She was a member of ST. Paul's United Church of Christ, St. Paul's Guild, VFW and American Legion Auxiliaries, and AARP.
She was the last member of her immediate family and along with her husband and parents was preceded in death by an infant son Gerald Edward Seebach, Jr., three sisters, Betty Jean Ogden, Ferne Ogden and Faye Ogden and one brother Jack Ogden. She is survived by four sisters in law and a number of nieces and nephews.
Friends received from 2 - 4 & 6 - 9 p.m. Thursday at the Bauer-Turner Funeral Home 100 S. Paul St. Woodsfield, Ohio where services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday April 4, 2008. Interment will be on the Seebach lot in Friendship Cemetery in Lewisville, Ohio.
