Jimmie Hines

Jimmie R. Hines, 88 of New Concord, Ohio formerly of Graysville, Ohio passed away Monday December 2, 2019 at his home after a short illness.  He was born in Monroe County Ohio January 23, 1931 a son of the late Clifford & Gertrude Hartshorn Hines.

He was a US Marine serving during the Korean War.  Jimmie was at one time employed by Baker Equipment in Lewisville, Ohio.  He worked at Hercules Steel in Canton, Ohio, RCA and NCR in Cambridge, Ohio and SYCON in Cambridge where he retired as plant manager.  He was a member of the Stafford Masonic Lodge #300 for over 50 years.

Preceded in death by his wife Norma Joan Hines, April 28, 2018.

He is survived by sons; Gary (Jeri) Hines of Zanesville, Ohio and Frank (Tammy) Hines of Cambridge, daughter Deborah (Keith) Hines Wert of Lehighton, Pennsylvania, brother John Hines of Lewisville, Ohio, sisters Delores (Robert) Miller of Zanesville, Ohio and Carrie Ann Turner of Woodsfield, Ohio, grandchildren John (Liz) Eyen, James (Lacie) Eyen, Jeremy Hines, Bryan Hines, Brandon Hines, Adam (Aimee) Hines, and Alexandria (Dan) Matheney, six great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

There will be no visitation.  Inurnment will be in Muskingum Valley Baptist Church Cemetery near Bloomfield, Ohio.  Arrangements by Bauer-Turner Funeral Home, 100 S. Paul St., Woodsfield, Ohio.
