Lisa Ackerman

Lisa Sims Ackerman, age 46, of Woodsfield, Ohio passed away Saturday August 25, 2018 at her home.  The daughter of Philip and Rebecca Sims of Woodsfield, she was born March 12, 1972.  

She was a graduate of Woodsfield High School and Belmont College where she received her LPN Nursing Degree.  She worked as a caregiver at the Monroe County Care Center for over 20 plus years and later as a home health nurse.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents Gerald and Kathryn Sims and grandmother Lucille Hogue.  

In addition to her parents, left to mourn her passing are a son, Ryan of Woodsfield, and daughter Haleigh of Altoona, Alabama, three sisters; Holly (Doil) Parden of Woodsfield, Amie (Bill) Agrillo of Whitehouse Station, New Jersey, and Jennifer (Todd) Coss of Zanesville, Ohio, her grandfather, Dalton Hogue of Woodsfield, and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Friends will be received from 2 until time of funeral service at 4 p.m. Wednesday August 29, 2018 at the Bauer-Turner Funeral Home, Woodsfield, Ohio with Doil Parden officiating.  Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to the Bauer-Turner Funeral Home 100 S. Paul St. Woodsfield, Ohio 43793.
