Lloyd Henthorn, 95 of Sardis, Ohio passed away Wednesday November 28, 2018 at his home. He was born in Monroe County Ohio April 1, 1923 a son of the late Sampson & Elizabeth Conner Henthorn.
Lloyd was a member of the Brownsville Church of Christ and a World War II US Army veteran. He had worked for Blaney Lumber many years ago. He retired from Switzerland of Ohio School District as a bus driver.
Preceded in death by his wife Grace Morris Henthorn, two daughters Shirley McCaslin, and Marlene Terwilliger, grandson Randy Huff, two sons-in-law John Huff and Fred Haney, sisters Hazel Saffle, Della Miller, Evelyn Eikleberry, and Elsie Jones, and a brother Ralph Henthorn.
He is survived by one son Paul (Sara) Henthorn of Sardis, Ohio, two daughters Sara Huff of Loudonville, Ohio, and Millie Haney of Sardis, Ohio, sons-in-law Frankie McCaslin and Terry Terwilliger, 10 grandchildren, several great and great-great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends received from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday November 30, at the Bauer-Turner Funeral Home Woodsfield, Ohio where funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday December 1, 2018 with Tim Fleeman officiating. Burial will follow in the West Union Cemetery near Sardis, Ohio.
