Mildred Marie Stephens

Mildred Marie Stephens, age 91, of Woodsfield, Ohio passed away Tuesday January 24, 2012 at the Woodsfield Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. She was born December 19, 1920 to the late Homer Nalley and Emma Bates Nalley.

Marie was preceded in death by her husband John R. Stephens, one daughter Nancy Truax, two grandchildren; Shawn Zielger, and Neil Stephens, two daughter-in-laws; Anita Stephens and Barbara Stephens, two son-in-laws; Leo Ledergerber and Clyde Yoho, 3 brothers; Mike Nalley, John Nalley, Herb Nalley, and three sisters; Edna Daughtery, Lorena Davis, and Dorothy Davis.

She is survived by her loving children and in-laws including six sons; Thomas (Zelda) Stephens of Lewisville, John (Carolyn) Stephens, Larry (Debbie) Stephens, Randy Stephens, Ricky (Shelly) Stephens, Gary (Debbie) Stephens all of Woodsfield, son-in-law; Richard Truax of Woodsfield, eight daughters; Mary Yoho, Helen (Dick) Ward, Dorothy (Dale) Elliott, Judy (James) Mellott, Debra (Doug) Ward, all of Woodsfield, Sue Ledergerber of Jacobsburg, Barbara (Terry) Kendall of Marietta, and Rita (John) Hanes of Barnesville, one brother; Glenn Nalley, two aunts; Jane Strickling and Edith Brown of Woodsfield, as well as 43 grandchildren, 65 great grandchildren, and 19 great great grandchildren.

Friends will be received from 2 - 9 p.m. Friday at the Bauer-Turner Funeral Home 100 S. Paul St. Woodsfield, Ohio where funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Saturday January 28, 2012 with Rev. Darla Schnegg officiating.  Interment in the Oaklawn Cemetery Woodsfield, Ohio.
