Norma L. Williams, 85, of Antioch, Ohio passed away on Thursday March 21, 2019. She was born in Cameron, WV on February 28, 1934 a daughter of the late Rex and Hazel Buzzard Woodruff.
She worked for Sears & Roebuck, Deputy Registrar for Monroe County, Barnesville Home Health and a cook for Rivers Edge. Norma was a member of the Woodsfield Christian Church, member of Antioch E-Squad and Fire Dept., President of Lady Aux. of the fire department for many years which she was head noodle maker, fudge and pie baker, chair lady of Monroe County Republican Party for 30 years, member of Midway Senior Center, member of Red Hats and bowled for 50 plus years. She volunteered for Relay for Life and American Heart Association.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a son Randy Williams, great granddaughter Haddie Williams, brothers William and John, sisters Dorothy Chaplin and Eldora Wendt.
She is survived by her husband Howard Williams of 61 years, a son Mark (Barb) Williams, daughter-in-law Emma Williams, grandkids Melissa (Dale) Gardner, Kevin (Taylor) Williams, Jonathan (M J) Williams, Travis (Kate) Williams, Jacob (Bethany) Williams, great grandkids Owen, Wesley, Rosie, Logan, Ansley, Selah, Jensen, Gia, Bennett, sister Connie Brown and numerous nephews and nieces.
Friends received from 2-8 p.m. Sunday March 24, 2019 at the Woodsfield Christian Church, 211 N. Main Street Woodsfield, Ohio where Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday March 25, 2019 at the Woodsfield Christian Church with grandson Travis Williams officiating. Burial will follow in Antioch Cemetery Antioch, Ohio.
