Paul Dean “Clem” English, 72, of Woodsfield, Ohio passed away Friday January 11, 2019 at the Monroe County Care Center. He was born in Rinard Mills, Ohio July 26, 1946 a son of the late Kenneth and Clara Griffin English.
He enjoyed talking about and working in the Oil Field. He never would pass up a game of cards, loved sports and was an avid Ohio State Fan.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother-in-law Walter Piatt, and two nephews Jeff and Brad Piatt.
He is survived by two daughters Cecile (Ryan) Watters of Woodsfield, and Tiffany (Adam) Hesson of Lowell, Ohio, three grandchildren Brayden and Braxten Watters, and Abigail Hesson, two sisters Doris Piatt of Doylestown, Ohio, Sharon (Ron) Yarnell of Brookwood, Alabama, three brothers Dale (Susan) English of Woodsfield, Roger (Sue) English of Graysville, and Ronnie (Vicki) English of Lewisville, Ohio several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends will be received from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday January 14 at the Bauer-Turner Funeral Home, 100 S. Paul St., Woodsfield, Ohio where funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday January 15, 2019 with Rusty Atkinson officiating. Military service conducted by the Beallsville American Legion Post 768 and the Woodsfield VFW Post 5303. Inurnment will follow at a later date.
