Robert D. Stine

Robert Dallas Stine age 86 of Wooster, Ohio formerly of Monroe County Ohio died Wednesday December 13, 2006 at the West View Manor Wooster, Ohio. He was born January 29, 1920 in Jefferson County Ohio a son of the late Ernest Leroy Stine and Georgia Ethel Whitacre Stine. Robert's mother died during childbirth and he was raised by Ernest's sister and her husband: Lester and Cora Stine Alexander.
He graduated from Antioch High School in 1938. He married Martha Helen Covert Sept. 2nd. 1940. They moved to Wayne County Ohio where he worked for the Timken Company in Wooster.
He served in the Army during World War II from 1944 to 1946 and retired from Timken in February 1st. 1979 after 38 years. He had a real estate license for a few years.
Preceded in death by his 1st. wife: Martha Covert Stine - 1989, 2nd. wife: Eilene King Stine - 1993, and his 3rd. wife: Catherine Copeland Stine.
He is survived by 1 son: John L. (Laura) Stine - West Salem, Ohio,
1 daughter: Ethel Irene (Robert) Reusser - Woodsfield, Ohio,
7 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren.
Friends received from (6-9) p.m. Friday and from 11 a.m. Saturday until time of funeral service at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Bauer-Turner Funeral Home Woodsfield, Ohio. Interment in the Plainview Cemetery near Woodsfield, Ohio.
