Robert Wallace

Robert H. Wallace, 89, of Woodsfield, Ohio passed away Sunday November 4, 2018 at the Monroe County Care Center.  He was born in Alliance, Ohio December 4, 1928 a son of the late William H. & Laura Gause Wallace.

Bob was a member of St. Sylvester Catholic Church. He worked at Morgan Engineering of Alliance as a commercial estimator and Ormet Rolling Mill as a foreman. In later years he worked at Monroe County Antiques with Virgil Tisher.  Bob loved working in his shop, building and repairing furniture…everyone always knew where he was.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sisters Sister Laura Wallace, Pauline Frank, and Gertrude Nudo.

He is survived by his wife of 35 years; Mary Wallace, children; Rebecca (Gary) Alkire, Mark (Laura) Wallace, Lou (Susan) Wallace, Steve (Beth) Wallace, Ginny Crowell, David Wallace, Phil (Katy) Wallace, Daren (Beth) Wallace, Joan (Don) Pack, Marty (Kim) Wallace, Judy (Debbie) Wallace, Nathan (Connie) Wallace, Lance (Nicole) Wallace, Richard (Janet) Werner, and Kathy Werner, many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received from 3 to 7 p.m. Wednesday November 7, 2018 at Bauer-Turner Funeral Home, 100 S. Paul St., Woodsfield, Ohio. Mass of Christian burial will be held at St. Sylvester's Catholic Church, Woodsfield, Ohio at 11:00 a.m. Thursday November 8, 2018 with Rev. Fr. David Gaydosik as celebrant . Inurnment will follow at the St. Sylvester Cemetery at a later date.   Vigil service will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday evening at the funeral home.
