Roger Shannon

Roger Shannon, age 58, of Woodsfield, Ohio died Monday November 2, 2009 in Millersburg, Ohio. He was born in Zanesville, Ohio August 2, 1951 a son of Mary E. Cline Bassett of Graysville, Ohio and the late George E. Shannon.



He retired from the Virginia Training Center Lynchburg, Virginia and served in the U.S. Air Force. He was a member of the Woodsfield Christian Church.



In addition to his mother Mary E. Bassett of Graysville, Ohio he is survived by 1 brother: Ross E. (Pam) Shannon - Newark, Ohio,
1 sister: Emma (Randy) Williams - Graysville, Ohio,
Niece and nephews: Derek R. Shannon- Columbus, Ohio,
Natalie K. (John) Fisher - Columbus, Ohio,
Travis R. (Kate) Williams - North Canton, Ohio,
Jacob Williams - Graysville, Ohio.



Friends received from (5-9) p.m. Wednesday at the Bauer-Turner Funeral Home 100 S. Paul St. Woodsfield, Ohio where Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday November 5, 2009 with Travis Williams officiating. Interment in the Low Gap Cemetery near Graysville, Ohio.
