Ronald J. Seidler

Ronald J. Seidler age 80, of Beallsville, Ohio died Thursday July 10, 2008 at the Woodsfield Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. He was born December 14, 1927 in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho a son of the late Freeman & Lois Seidler.

He was retired from Conalco Aluminum with a total of 38 years of service as a General Foreman and Area Technical Representative. He was a member of the Coast Guard from 1945 - 1947, Member of the Woodsfield Volunteer Fire Dept., and had been a member of Woodsfield Jaycees. He was instrumental in building the Monroe Municipal Pool. Ronald was an avid Golfer, member of the Switzerland of Ohio Country Club & was a talented Woodworker.

Preceded in death by 2 brothers: Rodney Seidler his twin brother, and Lester Keller.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years: Nerine Peringer Seidler - Beallsville, Ohio,
3 sons: Jeff (Jo Ellen) Seidler - Woodsfield, Ohio,
Greg (Vicky) Seidler - Ramona, California,
Dr. Jay (Sally) Seidler - Woodsfield, Ohio,
1 daughter: Rhonda (Chip) Jones - Dublin, Ohio,
1 brother: Ed Olsen - Alaska,
2 sisters: Christine Hammond - Seattle, Washington,
Leota Gilbert - Seattle, Washington,
4 Grandsons: Joe, Jim, Jason & Jordan Seidler
1Great Granddaughter: Madison Seidler,

Friends will be received from (2-9) p.m. Sunday at the Bauer-Turner Funeral Home 100 S. Paul St. Woodsfield, Ohio where services will be held 11 a.m. Monday July 14, 2008 with Keith Jones officiating. Interment in Oaklawn Cemetery Woodsfield, Ohio.
