William (Bill) Starkey

William (Bill) T. Starkey, age 67, of Woodsfield, Ohio passed away Thursday March 12, 2015 at the Ohio State University Medical Center Columbus, Ohio.  He was born in Woodsfield, Ohio  a son of the late Otto & Mildred Lippencott Starkey.

Bill retired from Farro Alloy.  He enjoyed photography and fishing.  Bill was a generous person and dedicated his time to his community which lead to the startup of the facebook page Up and Coming events in Monroe County, where he displayed many of his Monroe County pictures and especially his sunset pictures.

Preceded in death by one brother Robert Starkey, and one sister Patricia Jones.

He is survived by his wife Joyce Ayers Starkey of Woodsfield, two sons; Greg Starkey and his wife Reba, and Kevin Starkey, eight grandchildren; Caitlin Thompson, Brianna Starkey, Hannah Starkey, Judith Starkey, Samuel Starkey, Kadin Starkey, Kamryn Starkey and Koltin Starkey, two great grandchildren; Zade Thompson, and Leo Thompson, one brother; James Starkey of Woodsfield, and his loyal pet dog and best friend; Daisy.

Friends received from 2 – 4 & 6 - 8 p.m. Sunday March 15, at the Bauer-Turner Funeral Home 100 S. Paul St. Woodsfield, Ohio where Funeral Services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday March 16, 2015.  Burial will follow in Oaklawn Cemetery Woodsfield, Ohio.
