Robert Dean Craig, 78, of Woodsfield Ohio, passed away in his home surrounded by loved ones on Thursday, September 14. Dean was born on April 9, 1939 to Clark and Helen Truax Craig in Woodsfield Ohio.  On Oct 12, 1963, Dean married the love of his life, Nellie Daye of Wooster Ohio.

Dean retired from Conalco Corp. Hannibal, Ohio, and was a US Army reservist.

He was preceded in death by his Parents; one Brother Stephen Craig, and Sisters Rosemary Inkes, and Mary Krownapple.

Dean is survived by his wife Nellie Craig of Woodsfield, his two Daughters, Bonnie (Milan) Mattone of Powhatan Point Ohio, and Connie (Keith) Blair of Beallsville Ohio, his three Sons, Gary (Cyndi) Craig of Dallas Texas, Jim (Becky) Craig of Graysville Ohio, and Scott (Tabby) Craig of Powhatan Point Ohio; his 18 Grandkids, Mila, Michael, Kylie, Tawney, Braedon, Kellen, Chase, Cole, Isaac, Chacity, Jade, Kasey, Wyatt, Hannah, Venesa, John Wesley, Lucas and Gracie, and 7 Great Grandchildren, Zachary, Kaden, RyAnn, Craig, Danica, Lincoln, and Mia, and his siblings; David Craig of Woodsfield, Ruth Pfalzgraf of Clarington, Ohio, Elsie McMorrow of Wooster, and Linda (Dave) Wood of Moundsville, West Virginia, and several nieces and nephews.  

Friends will be received from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Sunday September 17 at the Bauer-Turner Funeral Home 100 S. Paul St. Woodsfield, Ohio where funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, September 18, 2017 with Paul Eddy and Brent Roth officiating.  Burial will follow in Oaklawn Cemetery Woodsfield, Ohio. Nellie and family, so sorry for your loss. Dean always met you with a smile and reminded me so of my dad. He will be missed but will remain forever in all of your memories. Let those memories comfort you during this time. Love and prayers.
