Scott T. Henthorn, 53, of Lewisville, Ohio passed away January 10, 2019 at his home.  He was born in Barnesville, Ohio February 11, 1965 a son of Mary Giesey Henthorn and the late Richard “Tiny” Henthorn.

Scott was a member of the Woodsfield Church of Christ, and worked at Detroit Diesel in Cambridge, Ohio.

In addition to his mother Mary Henthorn of Woodsfield he is survived by his wife Amy Wetmore Henthorn of Lewisville, son Austin (Tamara) Hoops of Tennessee, daughter Angeline Hoops of Lewisville, brother Mark (Cindy) Henthorn of Woodsfield, sister Sharon (Gary) Keevert of Woodsfield, and a grandson Trace Austin Hoops due in April.

Private Funeral Services were held at the Woodsfield Church of Christ with Scott McFarland officiating.  Burial followed in the Fairview Cemetery near Woodsfield.  Arrangements by Bauer-Turner Funeral Home Woodsfield, Ohio.

Amy and family - my heart goes out to all of you - Scott was such a quiet guy but had an ornery smile for everyone - It is hard to believe we have to let another classmate go. You all will be in my thoughts and prayers - Heaven sure has gained an awesome angel!!

I am deeply saddened to learn of Scott’s passing. Please accept my condolences. Scott was a classmate. I remember him as a very kind and soft spoken person. Thoughts and prayers to his family.

So sorry for your loss. Not only was Scott a high school classmate but our families were close neighbors. Hugs and prayers to you and your family.
