Alesia Nalley

Alesia “Lisa” Nalley, age 58, of Woodsfield, Ohio, passed away peacefully on December 25, 2025. She was born on July 12, 1967, to the late Homer Herbert Nalley and Bonnie Ann Lucas Nalley.

Lisa was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Robbie Nalley; brother-in-law, Harry Dalrymple; sister-in-law, Donna Nalley; cherished niece, Kayleigh Dalrymple, whom she helped raise as her own; and longtime companion, Victor Mercer. 

She is survived by her loving siblings: sister Valerie (Bryan) Bunting of Columbus, Ohio; brother Gene Nalley of Woodsfield, Ohio; brother Kerry (Yvonne) Nalley of Woodsfield, Ohio; sister Sandra Rose Dalrymple of Woodsfield, Ohio; and sister Bonnie (Bruce) Tubaugh of Lancaster, Ohio. Lisa is also survived by her beloved great-niece, Makenzie Dalrymple of Woodsfield, Ohio, who—like Kayleigh—held a special place in Lisa’s heart and was loved as a daughter. Lisa also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and extended family members who loved her dearly.

Lisa loved her family deeply and fiercely. She was kind, selfless, and devoted to the people she loved. Lisa had a special gift for making people laugh and for bringing humor and light into any room. One of her greatest joys in life was helping raise her great-nieces, Kayleigh and Makenzie. Her nurturing heart and giving spirit will be remembered forever by all who were blessed to know her. Family and friends will always cherish her memory, laughter, and the love she gave so freely.

In accordance with Lisa’s wishes, she will be cremated, and no formal service will be held. A celebration of life will take place at a later date, where family and friends can gather to honor and remember her.
