Alice Jean Coplan

Alice Jean Coplan, 96 of Woodsfield, Ohio passed away Saturday, March 29, 2025 at the Arbors at Woodsfield.  She was born December 25, 1928 in Sardis, Ohio a daughter of the late Raymond Straight and Marie Matthias Straight.

She was a member of the Laings Church of Christ.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband Paul Faber, daughter Phyllis Faber, second husband William Coplan, sisters Margaret Mae Winland, and Rosalee Straight, son-in-law Darrell Landefeld.

She is survived by her daughters Beverly Landefeld of Woodsfield, and Joyce Faber of Bridgeport, grandchildren Derrick (Beth) Landefeld, Jennifer Landefeld, Alicia Kasper, Bethany Kasper, and Dr. Ryan (Jillian) Kasper, great grandchildren Dylan Landefeld, Drew Landefeld, Ellianne Landefeld, Dane Landefeld, Davin Landefeld, Seth Scott, Stephen Scott, and Gavin Kasper.

Friends will be received from 1 p.m. until time of funeral service at 3 p.m. on Tuesday, April 1, 2025 at the Laings Church of Christ, 44191 State Route 255 Woodsfield, Ohio with Sam Bartrug officiating.  Burial will follow in the West Union Cemetery near Sardis, Ohio.
