Arlene D Winland

Arlene D. Winland 88 of Lewisville, Ohio passed away Friday May 13, 2022 at Stellar Care Center Woodsfield, Ohio. She was born June 26, 1933 Woodsfield, Ohio a daughter of the late George H. and Josephine M. Baker Schneider.

She was a graduate of Woodfield High School, a member of the St. Paul’s United Church of Christ Woodsfield and member of the American Legion Auxiliary Unit 87.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Francis E. Winland Sr. and daughter-in-law Pamela L. Winland.  

She is survived by her sons Francis “Junior” (Sherry) Winland of Woodsfield, George Winland of Sardis, Ohio, Mike (Dremmia) Winland of Batesville, Ohio, and Matt Winland and his companion Valerie Davis of Uhrichsville, Ohio, daughters Mary (Todd) Dougherty of Piedmont, Ohio and Barb (JR) Burkhart of Lewisville, Ohio, 19 grandchildren, and 20 great grandchildren.

Arlene’s family would like to extend their gratitude to Stellar Care Center and InCare Hospice Care for taking such excellent care of her.

Friends received from 11 a.m. until time of funeral service at 2 p.m. Monday May 16, 2022 at the Bauer-Turner Funeral Home 100 S. Paul St. Woodsfield, Ohio with Pastor Christy Thomas officiating.  Burial will follow in the Neuhart Cemetery near Woodsfield, Ohio.  

Memorial contributions may be made to Neuhart Cemetery and or St. Paul’s United Church of Christ.
