Barbara Ann Vargo

Barbara Ann Vargo, 76 of Barnesville, Ohio passed away Monday November 16, 2020 at Arbors of Woodsfield, Ohio.  She was born June 28, 1944 in Willoughby, Ohio a daughter of the late Michael and Margaret Tyzenhouse Mitchell.

 She was a member of the Assumption Catholic Church of Barnesville.  Barbara was in the first graduating class of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel School, at Wickliffe, Ohio in 1958.  She was a graduate of the Andrews School for Girls, Willoughby, Ohio February 1963, and the Sawyer College, Cleveland Heights, Ohio April 1991.  She was a member of the Bedford Historical Society and the Wickliffe Senior Center and worked the voting polls.

 Preceded in death by her brothers Michael, David and Edward Mitchell.

 She is survived by her two sons Tom Vargo of Woodsfield and Ron Vargo of Somerton, Ohio, four grandchildren Troy, Trisha, Katie and Christopher, and four great grandchildren Lila, Ryan, Nash and Jane.

 Family and close friends will be received from 9 a.m. until 10 a.m. Thursday Nov. 19, at the Bauer-Turner Funeral Home, 100 S. Paul St. Woodsfield, Ohio.  Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday Nov. 19, 2020 at the Assumption Catholic Church Barnesville, Ohio with Father Dave Cornett officiating.  Entombment will take place at All Souls Cemetery Chardon, Ohio.
