"Ben" Clarence Russell Obituary

“Ben” Clarence R. Russell, 62 of Malaga, lost his battle with Cancer on Monday March 28, 2022. He was born January 1, 1960 to the late Albert O. (Bud) Russell and Wanda Allen Russell.

He was a roofer by trade living in Manassas, VA and previously served in the US Army. A graduate of Woodsfield High School. He returned home a few years ago to be able to spend time with his family and friends.

He is survived by his Uncle Junior Lee Russell and Aunt Helen Longwell of Woodsfield, brother Cliff (Brad) Russell of Columbus, three sisters, Ellen (Greg) Morton of Woodsfield, Bertha (Johnny) Hamilton, as well as Pamela Russell of Bellaire, nieces and nephews, Jennifer (Jamie) Johnson, Corey Kinzy, JR Kinzy, DJ (Megan) Thomas, Justin (Carrie) Thomas, Bobbie Hamilton, as well as numerous great nieces and nephews.

His special family Dave & Christie Thomas and Rich & Juanita Justice as well as loving cousins and friends that go on and on and on. Ben also leaves his lifelong friends Cliff Forshey and Kim Ricer.

Graveside services will be held at 1 pm Friday May 6, 2022 at Oaklawn Cemetery Woodsfield with full Military Services and Pastors Christy Thomas and Herb Alexander officiating.

Memorial contributions may be made at Bauer–Turner Funeral Home to help the family cover expenses.
