Betty Jo Manley 87, of Woodsfield, Ohio passed away Friday May 7, 2021 at Liza’s Place Wheeling, West Virginia. She was born November 28, 1933 in Charleston, West Virginia.
Betty was a former nursing assistant at Barnesville Hospital and a member of the Cornerstone Assembly of God, Barnesville, Ohio. One of Betty’s enjoyable memories was being an extra in the 1949 movie Lost Boundaries.
She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Manley, son Edward C. Knott, brothers William Welker and Bob (Mason) Welker, grandson Joey Seidler, great grandson Rickey Wise.
She is survived by daughters Dottie DeJesus of Woodsfield, Ohio, Sandra Perebzak of Batesville, Ohio, Angela Bashline of Sumter, South Carolina, sisters Karen Welker of Thailand, and Michelle Smith (Welker) of Florida, 10 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.
Friends received from 6-8 p.m. Monday May 10th, at the Bauer-Turner Funeral Home 100 S. Paul St. Woodsfield, Ohio where services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday May 11, 2021 with Rev. Robert J. Kester officiating. Burial will follow in Oaklawn Cemetery Woodsfield, Ohio.
