Brandon Lee Groves

Brandon Lee Groves 27, of Woodsfield, Ohio passed away Friday March 8, 2024 near Cameron, Ohio.  He was born in Marietta, Ohio June 27, 1996 a son of Elizabeth “Betsy” Bonsall Groves and the late David Allen Lee Groves.

He was a graduate from Monroe Central High School, and was employed by the Appalachian Oilfield Services.  Brandon enjoyed his family and animals, and loved working on his cars and having adventures.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his grandfather Wallace Bonsall, and grandfather Clyde Junior Howell.

He is survived by his wife Angel Bigelow Groves of Woodsfield who he married October 29, 2022, his mother Betsy Groves (Craig Howell) of Bloomfield, Ohio, mother-in-law Ruby Steck of Beallsville, Ohio, sister Cortney Groves, grandmothers Carol Bonsall and Shirley (Jean) Howell and grandparents Howard and Darlene Groves, step siblings Dustin Temesvary, Cody (Courtney) Howell, and Kayla (Kolton Rush) Howell, nieces and nephews Braxton, Clayton, Hunter Grace, Jaxson, Weston, Jaxon, Layla, and Parker, and several aunts and uncles.

Friends will be received from 2 – 9 p.m. Monday March 11, at the Bauer-Turner Funeral Home 100 S. Paul St. Woodsfield, Ohio, where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday March 12, 2024 with Brent Roth officiating. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Ridge Cemetery near Graysville, Ohio.
