Carmen Leatta Speece Mozena, 88, of Clarington, Ohio went to be with the Lord on Thursday June 11, 2020. She was a resident at Arbors of Woodsfield. Carmen was born in Friendly, West Virginia April 28, 1932 a daughter of the late Truman and Goldie Hissom Speece.
She married Paul Mozena July 9, 1955. She was a member of Chapel Hill Methodist Church in Clarington, Ohio. Among her career accomplishments being a devoted wife and stay at home mom was her favorite job. She loved to crochet, read, and enjoyed country music. She enjoyed life with family and friends to the fullest.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Paul Mozena, brothers Emmet, Edward, and Thurman, and sisters Hilda, and Brenda (Joy).
She is survived by two sons Paul Mozena of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, and Neal (Cathy) Mozena of Moundsville, West Virgina, and daughter Melodie (Kris) Mozena of Clarington, sister Glenda (Dennis) Gragg and brother Truman (Mary) Speece, granddaughters Heather (Chris) Cambell, Jessica (Marvin) Wiley, Lacey Mozena, Ash Mozena, and her many adopted grandchildren, great grandchildren, and special care giver Elizabeth Wissinger.
Friends received from 4 – 8 p.m. Saturday June 13, at the Bauer-Turner Funeral Home, 100 S. Paul St., Woodsfield, Ohio where funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday June 14, 2020 with Joshua Kinney officiating. Burial will follow in Oaklawn Cemetery Woodsfield.
Visitation and service will be held under CDC Social Distancing guidelines.
