Cecil Willard Saffell

Cecil Willard Saffell, age 76, of Jerusalem, Ohio died Friday May 1, 2009 at Barnesville Hospital. He was born in Belmont County Ohio February 24, 1933 a son of the late Cecil Saffell and Mary McFarland Saffell.


He had worked at the Watts Car & Steel at Barnesville, former employee of Y & O Coal, and also had worked for Blaney Hardwood Bethesda.


Preceded in death by 2 sisters: Mary Louise Kostelia, and Marjorie Wehr.


He is survived by his wife: Joyce Bach Saffell of Jerusalem,
1 daughter: Mary Ann (David) Williams - Sardis, Ohio,
2 sons: Gary (Regina) Saffell - New Martinsville, WV,
Charlie Saffell - Woodsfield, Ohio,
1 brother: Larry (Barb) Saffell - Bethesda, Ohio,
2 grandchildren: Nathan & Jason Williams,
1 uncle: Larry (Esta) Perkins - Bethesda, Ohio,



Friends received from 6 - 9 p.m. Monday at the Bauer-Turner Funeral Home 100 S. Paul St. Woodsfield, Ohio where Funeral Services will be held at 12 noon Tuesday May 5, 2009 with Minister Herb Alexander officiating. Interment in the Oaklawn Cemetery Woodsfield, Ohio.
