Charles Tomlin Obituary

Charles L. Tomlin, 72, of Woodsfield, Ohio passed away Tuesday June 30, 2020 at Reynolds Memorial Hospital Glen Dale, West Virginia of liver failure with his family by his side. He was born in New Martinsville, West Virginia October 19, 1947 a son of the late Charles Lipscomb and the late Hazel Wilson Tomlin & Tommy Tomlin.

He graduated from Beallsville High School where he excelled in athletics, and retired from the Ormet Corporation Hannibal, Ohio after 38 years of service. He was a member of Laings Church of Christ and Switzerland of Ohio Golf Club until his health prevented his playing the game he loved. Also formerly member of American Bowling Congress, and Board of Monroe Water Systems.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one sister Glenda Tomlin.

He is survived by his wife Mary Ann Starr Tomlin, who he married August 10, 1968,

Children; Brian Tomlin of Woodsfield, Scott (Ann) Tomlin of Woodsfield,  & Traci (Rick) Alleman of Sardis, grandchildren; Tyler Alleman, Bret, Heidi, Coleman, Kaden & Addason Tomlin and siblings: Jayne Circosta, Cathy Hill, Jerry Tomlin, Vicki Williams, Lynn Arnett & Tommy Tomlin Jr.

 Friends received from 11 a.m. until time of Funeral Service at 4 p.m. Friday July 3, 2020 at the Bauer-Turner Funeral Home Woodsfield, Ohio.  Memorial contributions may be made to Cancer Gas Cards, 48397 Keylor Hill Road, Woodsfield, Ohio 43793 and or Beallsville Rally for Life c/o Kathy Rees, 41515 North Park Drive, Beallsville, Ohio 43716.
