Clara J Saffle

Clara Jean Blair Saffle, 85 of Waverly, Ohio formerly of Woodsfield, passed away Monday March 3, 2025 at Bristol Village Nursing Home at Waverly. She was born in Washington Township Monroe County Ohio September 4, 1939 a daughter of the late Elisha J. & Lavina Augusta Law Blair.

She was a member of the Woodsfield Church of Christ.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Charles F. Saffle Sr.,  sister, Erma Stephans, and a brother, Homer Blair.

She is survived by son Charles F. Saffle Jr. (Melody) of Pickerington, Ohio, daughter Joyce Tolle of Waverly, sister Minnie Haney (Leland) Ravenna, Ohio, three grandchildren Ryan Geddes (Andrea), Sean Saffle (Skylar) and Eric Saffle (Kaylin), and great grandchildren, Ryker and Graham Geddes.

Friends received from 11 a.m. until time of funeral service at 1 p.m. Friday March 7, 2025 Bauer-Turner Funeral Home Woodsfield, Ohio with Keith Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Oaklawn Cemetery Woodsfield.
