Danny Ellis Morris

Danny Ellis Morris, age 60, passed away on December 14, 2021 at Altercare of Navarre after a brief battle with cancer.

Danny was born on April 22, 1961 in Barnesville, Ohio to Judy Hensel and Ellis Morris. He graduated in 1980 from Beallsville High School in Beallsville, Ohio. After high school, he moved to Massillon, Ohio, where he lived for the remainder of his life. He was a past participant of The Workshops in Canton, Ohio and was employed at several businesses, most recently at Mercy Medical Center in Canton.

Danny enjoyed a variety of sports, including football, basketball and professional wrestling. He was a fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers. He also enjoyed collecting clocks.

Danny was preceded in death by his brothers, Russell Morris and Timothy Carl McCaslin.

He is survived by his parents, Judy Hensel of Woodsfield and Ellis and Susan Morris of Beallsville; brother and sister-in-law David and Deanna Morris of North Lawrence, brother Dwain Morris of Navarre; sisters and brothers-in-law Tiffany and David Butler of Somerton and Amanda and John Perdue of Marietta; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and a great-nephew.

Friends received from 11 a.m. until time of funeral service at 12:30 p.m. Friday December 17, 2021 at the Bauer-Turner Funeral Home, 100 S. Paul St., Woodsfield, Ohio with Jeff Gallaher officiating. Burial will in the Mount Zion Church of Christ Cemetery near Woodsfield, Ohio at a later date.
