Dawn Ischy

Dawn Renee Ischy, 49, of New Martinsville, West Virginia formerly of Sardis, Ohio died Saturday, February 5, 2022 at Reynolds Memorial Hospital from complications of long-standing diabetes. Dawn was adopted as an infant and always felt the upmost gratitude to her adoptive parents who raised and loved her unconditionally.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Dan and Mary (Herndon) Ischy.

She is survived by her siblings John R. (Maria P.) Ischy, Tim Ischy and Beth (Merrill) Wymer as well as three nephews, John D. Ischy, Josh Ischy and Matt Ischy several great nephews and nieces. Her best and dearest friend, Beverly Pritt, greatly contributed to Dawn’s well-being and enjoyment of life.
Dawn was a lifelong protector and lover of animals.

There will be no visitation. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.  A celebration of life will be scheduled in the spring. Arrangements by Bauer-Turner Funeral Home Woodsfield, Ohio.
