Dennis "Bo" Dierkes

Dennis “Bo” Dierkes, 79, of Woodsfield, Ohio passed away Sunday September 20, 2020 at his home surrounded by his family.  He was born May 12, 1941 a son of the late George & Grace Lallathin Dierkes of Sykes Ridge, Monroe County. 

Bo was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather.  Bo loved to spend time with family gatherings and trips to the beach.  Bo was a member of the First Baptist Church of Woodsfield.   Bo enjoyed Monday night cards at the American Legion and was a member of American Legion Post 87.  He retired from United States Steel Workers Local 5784 with almost 40 years at Ormet Corporation.

He was preceded in death by one brother Gary “Joe” Dierkes. 

He is survived by his wife Sue Trembly Dierkes, two daughters Robyn (Steve) Nowak, and Heather Craycraft, two sons Doug (Julie) Dierkes, and Scott (Misty) Dierkes, sister Cheryl Dennison and brother Keith (Judy) Dierkes, seven grandchildren Jammie Ball, Derek London Dierkes, Laikyn Craycraft, Kara Dierkes, Mckinzey, Grayce, and Colt Dierkes, and great grandchild Elise J. Ball, several nieces and nephews.

Friends received from 2-7 p.m. Wednesday September 23 at the Bauer-Turner Funeral Home Woodsfield, Ohio where services will be held at 12 noon Thursday September 24, 2020 with Pastor TJ Milam officiating.  Burial will follow in the Oaklawn Cemetery Woodsfield, Ohio.  Military services conducted by the American Legion Post 87 with Bob Welsh officiating.
