Donald (Ralph) Morton, 84 of Woodsfield, Ohio passed away Thursday April 7, 2022 at WVU Reynolds Memorial Hospital Glen Dale, West Virginia. He was born in Londonderry, Ohio June 11, 1937 a son of the late John A. and Martha A. Campbell Morton.
He retired from Universal Precision Products in Tallmadge, Ohio and had worked at Manchester Tool Company in Akron, and also taught Machine Trade at Swiss Hills Vocational School. He was a member of Woodsfield Eagles Lodge # 2302, and was an avid sports fan enjoying hunting, fishing and all Cleveland Sports Teams.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers Herman, John Jr., Hobart, and Duane Morton, and sister Dorothy Thomas.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years Judy McCollum Morton whom he married May 28, 1960 in Woodsfield, daughter Sheri Morton, sons Brian Morton, Greg (Ellen) Morton, and Donald (Shawna) Morton all of Woodsfield, sister Isabelle Starr, grandchildren Gage, Jonah, Jaylyn, Carter, Willow, and Penelope Morton, and Devin, Parker and Chloe Seymour
Friends received from 11 a.m. until time of funeral service at 1 p.m. Tuesday April 12, 2022 at the Bauer-Turner Funeral Home Woodsfield, Ohio with Dr. James Mahoney officiating. Burial will follow in Oaklawn Cemetery Woodsfield.
