Dorothy Marlene Lohr

Dorothy Marlene Lohr, 88 of Fly, Ohio passed away Friday January 2, 2026 at Marietta Memorial Hospital.  She was born May 10, 1937 in Steubenville, Ohio a daughter of the late Abraham and Leona Gardner Leasure.

She was a graduate of Wintersville High School class of 1955.  She was a member of the United Methodist Church of New Matamoras, Ohio and was a big fan of Irish singer Daniel O’Donnell and the Gaither Family gospel music.  Marlene enjoyed her family and friends and loved them all very deeply.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Ruth Lambing and a brother, Pete Leasure.

She is survived by her husband Lloyd Lohr whom she married 70 years ago this last Thanksgiving day, she is also survived by her son Michael (Jennifer) Lohr of Bowling Green, Ohio, brother, Chuck (June) Leasure of Bloomingdale, Ohio, sister, Jeanne Ritchie of Woodsfield, and grandson Erik Lohr of Bowling Green, Ohio.

A Celebration of life will be held at a later date at the United Methodist Church of New Matamoras, Ohio.
