Douglas Abbott

Douglas E. Abbott, 57 of Barnesville, Ohio formerly of Woodsfield passed away Saturday at his home.  He was born in Barnesville October 9, 1964 a son of the late Edward L. & Hilda Berry Abbott.

Doug was a previous employee of MACO workshop.  He loved all sports and enjoyed collecting all sports memorabilia.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers Gary and Brad Abbott and nephews Brandon, and Payton Abbott.

He is survived by his brother Roger (Jenny) Abbott of Clarington, Ohio, sister Debbie Abbott of Marietta, Ohio, sister-in-law Debra Abbott of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

A private graveside service will be held at the Jerusalem Cemetery at the convenience of the family.  Arrangements by Bauer-Turner Funeral Home Woodsfield, Ohio.
