Edward Carroll “Ed” Templeton, 75 formerly of Graysville, Ohio passed away peacefully at his home in Auburndale, Florida, on February 25, 2026. Edward was born January 22, 1951 to the late Harold and Pauline Templeton.
He was a mechanic by trade. Ed worked for Marks Toy Factory in Moundsville, West Virginia, owned and operated the Ashland Gas Station located on Eastern Avenue in Woodsfield, Ohio. His passions lied in the restoration and painting old cars. He was also a talented artist, winning contests while in school.
Ed is survived by his children, Richard (Sherry) Templeton, Kristina (Rusty) Atkinson, Charity (Charlie) Andrew, and Missy Lightner; two sisters Susan (Larry) Palmer, and Edie Schumacher; three brothers, James (Bonnie) Templeton, Clifford (Pam) Templeton, and Andy Templeton. He left behind 12 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild, and several nieces and nephews. He will also be missed by his life-long friends Mr. & Mrs. Bud Elliot and Bud’s daughter all of Auburndale, Florida.
A celebration of life will be held at the convenience of the family.
