Everett Burkhart Obituary

Everett R. Burkhart, 69 of Woodsfield, Ohio passed away Saturday June 20, 2020 at his home.  He was born October 1, 1950 in Cleveland, Ohio a son of the late Everett Burkhart Sr., and Dorothy Burkhart Wilson.

Everett was a member of St. Paul’s United Church of Christ in Woodsfield, American Legion, and Monroe Central Sideliners.  He was a US Navy Vietnam Veteran and member of the Navy Honor Guard.  He worked at No. 6 Coal Mine, and retired from Conalco/Ormet after 28 years.  He taught for AmeriDrive in Woodsfield, and coached many little league, baseball and basketball teams, and was a super father and outstanding Dad.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother Edward Burkhart, step-father Bruce Wilson.

He is survived by his wife Adrianne Osbourn Burkhart of Woodsfield, son Ryan (Yvette) Burkhart of San Antonio, Texas, daughter Whitney (Zachary) Bedwell of Downingtown, Pennsylvania, sisters Norma (Ronald) Rucker of Beallsville, Ohio, Nancy (Dennis) Miller of Miltonsburg, Ohio and Tammy Rush of Miltonsburg, granddaughter Elizabeth, and another granddaughter on the way.

Friends will be received from 8:30 am until time of Memorial Service at 9:00 am Saturday July 24, 2021 at St. Paul’s United Church of Christ 303 S. Main St. Woodsfield, Ohio with Rev. Susan Lehosky officiating. Arrangements by Bauer-Turner Funeral Home Woodsfield, Ohio.
