Frank V. McGarry Jr.

Frank V. McGarry Jr., 65 of Sardis, Ohio passed away Tuesday May 6, 2025 at WVU Ruby Memorial Hospital Morgantown, West Virginia.  He was born in Bellaire, Ohio January 12, 1960 a son of Betty K Saffell McGarry of Woodsfield and the late Franklin Victor McGarry Sr.

He was a graduated from Woodsfield High School and after graduation he joined the US Marine Corp.  He retired from Ormet Corporation Hannibal, Ohio and was a member of the Moose Lodge 2247, and VFW Post 9930 of Duffy.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his wife Meskal M. Bowen McGarry, brother, David McGarry, and son Jason Miller. 

In addition to his mother Betty K. McGarry, he is survived by his son, Taylor McGarry of Woodsfield and daughters, Landri Miller, Kristin McGarry and Joni McGarry all of Woodsfield, brother, John (Diane) McGarry of New Concord, Ohio, sister, Cindy (Bill) Parden of Woodsfield, grandchildren, Damien, Devin, Alyssa, Merric, Zoey, Caedyn, Lexie, Kason, Kolton, Kallen, Carden, and Jase, and one great granddaughter.

Friends will be received from 11 a.m. until time of funeral service at 1 p.m. Saturday May 10, 2025 at the Bauer-Turner Funeral Home 100 S. Paul St. Woodsfield, Ohio with Bill Parden officiating.  Full military services will be conducted at the funeral home.  Burial will follow in the Oaklawn Cemetery Woodsfield, Ohio.
