Gail Ann Briggs, 70 of Graysville, Ohio passed away Wednesday December 4, 2019 at the Monroe County Care Center. She was born near Graysville, Ohio January 14, 1949 a daughter of the late Francis Arthur (Art) Kinney and Dorothy Elizabeth Suittor Kinney.
She was a Baptist by faith. Gail Ann was a 1967 graduate of Skyvue High School. She had been cashier at Riesbecks Food Market, former dispatcher for the Monroe County Sheriff’s Department, and had been a Weight Watchers instructor.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one brother William Kinney.
She is survived by her husband of 34 years Larry Briggs of Graysville, daughter Beth Ann (Kevin) Rose of Graysville, step daughters Angela (Michael) Freeman of Barnesville, Ohio and Tawnya (Casey) Stephens of Salesville, Ohio, grandchildren Jared Rose and his fiancée Jacklynn Christman, 4 step grandchildren Cole (Brianna) Briggs, Madison Stephens, Dillon Freeman and Casey Stephens, 2 step great grandchildren Lawson Bebout and Emilia Briggs, 2 nieces, and her dog Harley.
Friends received from 2 – 8 p.m. Friday December 6, at the Bauer-Turner Funeral Home, 100 S. Paul St., Woodsfield, Ohio where funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday December 7, 2019 with Herb Alexander officiating. Burial will follow in the Hartshorn Ridge Cemetery near Graysville, Ohio.
