Herman Kahrig

Herman P. Kahrig, 94 of Barnesville, Ohio passed away Tuesday February 25, 2020 at Brandywood Assisted Living Woodsfield, Ohio.  He was born May 22, 1925 in Monroe County Ohio a son of the late Lawrence & Ella Christman Kahrig.

He was a farmer and a mechanic for Lashley Tractor Sales. Herman enjoyed restoring tractors. He was a member of the Beallsville Church of Christ.

Preceded in death by his wife Elizabeth Eileen Devore Kahrig, brothers Roger, William, Francis, Virgil and Lester Kahrig and sister Martha Uppole.

He is survived by brothers Rodney (Betty) Kahrig, Kenneth (Kitty) Kahrig, and Lloyd Kahrig, sisters Dortha Lee Matz, Vera (Robert) Crock, Leora Cruise, and Doris Kahrig, sister-in-laws Kathy Kahrig, Vivian Kahrig, and Charlotte Horseley and many loving nieces and nephews.

Friends received from 2 – 8 p.m. Friday February 28, at the Bauer-Turner Funeral Home, 100 S. Paul St., Woodsfield, Ohio where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday February 29, 2020 with Collin Morrison officiating.  Burial will follow in the Somerton Southern Cemetery Somerton, Ohio.
