James C. Pfalzgraf, 87 of Clarington, Ohio passed away Thursday October 28, 2021. He was born February 21, 1934 at Round Bottom, Ohio a son of the late John and Lucy (Shaw) Pfalzgraf.
He was retired from Conalco/Ormet and was a member of the Chapel Hill United Methodist Church. He loved to fish, hunt, plant a garden and play fastpitch softball (Third Baseman). He loved the woods and the great outdoors. He loved to attend church and sing at church. He performed with his family and friends in the Laings Hee Haw Show at Laings, Ohio. He loved to attend all events that his grandchildren and great grandchildren were involved. He attended and/or listened to each game they played as long as his health permitted.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Bill, Ed and Ken Pfalzgraf and his sisters Genevieve (Dee), Dorothy and Carol.
Jim is survived by his loving wife of 65 years Shirley (Lallathin) Pfalzgraf, two daughters, Rita (Jerry) Gust of Clarington, and Mona (Mike) Mistovich of Powhatan, one son David Pfalzgraf of Clarington and his sister, Shirley Clegg of Sardis. He had four grandchildren: Jaime Bier of Beallsville, Jenna Rosnick of Clarington, Michael Mistovich of Martins Ferry and Melissa Mistovich of Steubenville and nine great-grandchildren whom he loved with all his heart.
Friends will be received from 11 a.m. until time of funeral service at 2 p.m. Sunday October 31, 2021 at the Bauer-Turner Funeral Home 100 S. Paul St. Woodsfield, Ohio with Ken Phillips officiating. Burial will follow in the Chapel Hill Cemetery near Clarington, Ohio.
