Jeffery Richard Weddle

Jeffery R. Weddle, 71 of Woodsfield, Ohio passed away Sunday January 4, 2026 at WVU Wheeling Hospital.  He was born April 2, 1954 at Barnesville, Ohio a son of the late William H. and Doris Vickers Weddle.

He was a graduate of Woodsfield High School and had attended Kent State.  Jeff was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Woodsfield, a coal miner at #6 Murray Energy, and had also had a lawn care service.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Andrea Workman, and son, Kristopher Bach.

He is survived by his wife Anne Billups Weddle of Woodsfield, daughters, Gretchen (James Woronick) Weddle of Woodsfield and Heather (Greg) Parson of North Canton and son, Joshua (Sarah Hooper) Bach of Woodsfield, brother, Jerry (Debi) Weddle of Woodsfield, grandchildren, Kristopher (Nattaley) Bach, Johnathan Bach and Courtney (Jake) Kirven and Tyler Parson and great grandchildren, Karter James Hickman and Ryder Joseph John Bach.

Friends will be received from 2 p.m. until time of funeral service at 7 p.m. Friday January 9, 2026 at the Bauer-Turner Funeral Home Woodsfield, Ohio with Rev. David Cottrell officiating. Inurnment will be at the convenience of the family.
