John Keith Harmon 83, of Graysville, Ohio left this world on Wednesday October 5, 2022 from his home, to spend eternity with his Savior. He was born on December 8, 1938 in Graysville to James Glenn and Murl (Williams) Harmon.
He was a graduate of Graysville High School. He followed his father’s footsteps, and worked many years in the oil and gas industry.
He was a dedicated husband, father and grandfather. He is survived by his loving wife Norma (Cline) Harmon of 64 years, and four children: Sheryl Jean (Todd) Allen, Christy Lynn (Bob) Burrow, Troy Keith (Bobbi) Harmon and Tracy Sue (Paul) Lucas. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister Patricia Ann Cline, a brother David Darrell Harmon and a great-grandson Bryden Luke Britton. He has been blessed with eleven grandchildren and twenty great grandchildren.
He loved a hot cup of coffee on the front porch, holding his grandchildren, and being in the oil field. His favorite Bible verses were 2 Corinthians 5:17 & 18 If anyone belongs to Christ, there is a new creation. The old things have gone; everything is made new! All this is from God. Through Christ, God made peace between us and himself, and God gave us the work of telling everyone about the peace we can have with him.
Burial has already taken place, and a celebration of life will take place at the Methodist Church in Graysville, on Wednesday October 19, 2022. Visitation will begin at 3:00 P.M. and the service at 4:00 P.M. In lieu of flowers please tell others about the peace you can have in Jesus, if you don’t know this peace, we would love to talk with you about it.
