John W Riggs Jr.

John W. Riggs Jr. 82 of Marietta, Ohio formerly of New Matamoras passed away Thursday February 3, 2022 at his home. He was born Marietta, Ohio January 18, 1940 a son of the late John W. Riggs Sr. and Dorothy Williamson Riggs.

 He is a retired tree trimmer for Kidder Tree Service.

 In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Mary E. Riggs, brother Jerry R. Riggs Sr., sister Rosemary Carico, and step daughter Bonnie Morris.

 He is survived by his son John Riggs III, and brother Paul Riggs.

 Friends received from 11 a.m. until time of funeral service at 1 p.m. Friday February 11, 2022 at the Bauer-Turner Funeral Home 100 S. Paul St. Woodsfield, Ohio.  Burial will follow in the Unity Baptist Cemetery near Antioch, Ohio.
