Katherine Ann Weber

Katherine Ann Gates Weber, 70, of Woodsfield, Ohio passed away Friday February 7, 2020 at the Stellar Care Center Woodsfield, Ohio.  She was born January 13, 1950 in Brownsville, Texas a daughter of the late Howard W. and Viola Rose Rosema.

She was raised in Texas until January 1964 when her family moved to Woodsfield, Ohio. In January of 1967 her family moved to Baton Rouge, Louisiana.  Kathy graduated from Broadmoor Sr. High School, in 1968, and she returned to Woodsfield in July of 1968 and married John. R. Weber son of Raymond and Mary Greenbank Weber.

Kathy was a lifelong learner having received a multitude of Associate Degrees from Belmont College.  She was a member of the Monroe Arts Council, a former Cub Scout leader, a giver, helper and loved the Lord.  She had also attended the Woodsfield Presbyterian Church.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one brother Howard “Chip” Rosema.

She is survived by her husband John Weber of Woodsfield, son Daniel Weber, Sister Lynette (John) DuBois, Brother Stephen M. (Kimberly) Rosema, sister-in-law Jane (Roger) Howard, and many nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received from 4:00 p.m. until time of Funeral Service at 7:00 p.m. Sunday February 16, 2020 at the Bauer~Turner Funeral Home 100 S. Paul St. Woodsfield, Ohio with Mark Statler officiating. Interment at the convenience of the family. www.bauerturner.com.
