Kathryn Kaye Hogue

Kathryn Kaye Hogue, 78 of St. Clairsville, Ohio formerly of Woodsfield, Ohio passed away Friday February 14, 2020 at Wheeling Hospital Wheeling, West Virginia.  She was born in Monroe County Ohio May 15, 1941 a daughter of the late Norman G. and Ruth Dougherty Hogue.

Kaye helped found the Woman’s Tri-County Help Center.  She had worked as a secretary for Whiteside Auto of St. Clairsville, member of the Red Hat Society and various other organizations.  She was a Christian by faith, and enjoyed traveling around the world.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one brother Norman William Hogue, and one sister Patricia M. Hissom. 

She is survived by her long-time partner William Thomas of St. Clairsville, one son Christopher Hoskinson of Woodsfield, and one daughter Julia (Ed) Pletcher of Clarington, Ohio, one sister Carolyn Livorno of Fairborn, Ohio, four grandchildren Autumn (Mark) Dimmerling of St. Clairsville, Eden Pletcher, Benjamin Pletcher, and Cherish Pletcher all of Clarington, and four great grandchildren Hannah Scott, Hayden Scott, Marley Dimmerling, and Elliey Dimmerling.  

There will be no visitation.  Inurnment will be at the convenience of the family.  Arrangements by Bauer-Turner Funeral Home, 100 S. Paul St., Woodsfield, Ohio.
